London’s Greatest Weekends at the Museum of London

Thursday, November 17, 2022 - 10:45

On 4th December 2022, the Museum of London will close its doors to the public as it prepares to move to its new site in West Smithfield. The museum at London Wall will remain open for events, with even greater capacity to host daytime experiences during the relocation period.

To celebrate the milestone of 45 years of the Museum of London at London Wall, it will be hosting two weekend festivals on 26th and 27th November and 3rd and 4th December 2022.

The museum’s first Greatest Weekend in November will see a family friendly festival take place with face painting, immersive theatre, arts and crafts, London’s biggest table football competition and pop-up musical performances to bring the museum’s galleries to life. All completely free!

On the first weekend of December and the museum’s final weekend open to the public, guests can dance to funky beats with the capital’s greatest hits from the last five decades, enjoy immersive theatre in the galleries and spend some final moments within the incredible collections – for now, at least! The museum will stay open all night on Saturday 3rd December with a late-night film festival for night owls in the City to get their culture fix, followed by an early morning Yoga class on Sunday.

It’s guaranteed to be a special celebration to remember! Click here to find out more.
